Gifts to SLU Libraries and Museums contribute to...
Saint Louis University Libraries play essential roles in students' academic journeys and in maintaining our status as a world-class educational institution. They are collaborative spaces, where students and faculty have access to extensive research and participate in diverse programming that fosters dialogue. Three of SLU’s libraries are located on our St. Louis campus: Pius XII Memorial Library, the Medical Center Library (MCL) and the Vincent C. Immel Law Library, and one is located on our campus in Madrid, Spain.
SLU’s museums reflect the vibrant history of religious, contemporary, fine and decorative art and offer educational opportunities and aesthetic enrichment for the SLU community and the general public. The Saint Louis University Museum of Art (SLUMA) exhibits and collects works by modern masters and displays an extensive collection of Jesuit artworks and artifacts. The University’s Museum of Contemporary Religious Art (MOCRA) is the first museum to bring an interfaith focus to contemporary art. And the historic Samuel Cupples House serves as a gallery for SLU's collection of fine and decorative art dating from before 1919.
