Help the Saint Louis University field hockey team reach its goal of 20 donors during this year’s Battle of the Billikens crowdfunding competition.
"Our team has made tremendous strides this year, and the support we receive truly shapes the experiences of our student-athletes. Thanks to the generosity of donors, we recently built our own field, bringing SLU field hockey back home for the first time since 1998. We are working to improve the field lighting so our athletes can train safely and consistently throughout the fall season. We would like to develop a field-side locker room and athletic training space to allow our players and support staff to prepare for and recover from each training session and competition. Attaining up-to-date equipment is another important need, especially with the rising cost of sticks and protective gear. Every contribution helps us give our athletes the resources they need to keep growing, competing and taking pride in representing Saint Louis University."

Recent Program Achievements
- Earned the first win in program history over the University of Richmond, and the only A-10 regular-season win over the Spiders this year.
- Clinched a historic win over Ohio University, ending a multi-year losing streak.
- Opened the season 3-1, marking the program’s best start in more than 30 years.
- Secured the first road win against a Division I opponent in seven years.
- Played one of the most competitive schedules in recent memory, with five one-goal losses and several matches decided in overtime or shootouts.
- Showed significant year-to-year improvement in competitiveness, scoring and overall cohesion while competing with one of the smallest rosters in the conference.
